A Respect2Glory Recipe

Respect to the glory of our GOD, the one and only Almighty Creator!

Respect

biblically -

dictionary.com - the condition of being esteemed or honored: to be held in respect.

wikipedia.org - Respect is an attitude of acknowledging the feelings and interests of another party in a relationship, and of treating as consequential for the self the helping or harming of the other. Though most commonly referring to interpersonal relationships, it can be used between animals, groups and institutions including countries. Respect does not necessarily imply deference, but a respectful attitude rules out unconsidered selfish behaviour. The concept of respect predates, and does not rely on, the existence of the concept of rights. Like the Golden Rule, treat others the way you want to be treated.

Respect is sometimes loosely used as a synonym for politeness or manners, though these are behaviours, whereas respect is an attitude. Intercultural differences in behaviours, self-perception and outward appearance may result in the unintentional appearance of disrespect.

Respect is the esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability: I have great respect for her judgement.

Many movements have at different times claimed respect as the core element, including raver-culture, Islam and the United States Marine Corps.citation needed Many teachers consider this to be the core value in the classroom and think of it as the most important attitude in the classroom.

I once was lost

BUT

NOW I AM FOUND

lalala la le la lee laaaaaaa!

The new songs in my heart is almost enough reward!

Giving respect due to God is glory all in it's own.

As I've taken the time to honor God, and my life has changed dramatically. My person has changed, as I am a new creature in Christ Jesus, because I invited Him to live in me.

Once I invited God to help me and I asked Him to fix my messed up life, everything began to take on a new direction. I didn't notice these things immediately, but over time, I look back and can see God's great hand make big changes. I could never orchestrate anything like that into my life. I had already aquired the unrepairable, that have since then 'went away' or have bloomed into treasures. Now, we've all had friendships that we had treasured for a time or so, but when God gives you friends or brings people together, most of us know that they are never going to go away ever. This is a heavenly family, and not as the precious human family, but certainly different, deeper, and more entwinded into a graft of God's sinless family tree.

Sin is an amazing thing. Sin is fun to do, and therefore it's easy to do more of it. I've watched the silliness try to mask away their true feelings. Thank God that He can see past all the masks. There is nothing that God does not know. He knows us better than we can imagine. Only He can bring us to the realization of what is right and wrong, so we can repent and be renewed. How many times have you thought about how precious it is to be a child, so innocent and enjoying life that is right there in front of you with no other worries. This is how it is when you become a child of God! Of course you're an adult and know more, but when you trust God for everything, there are no worries! Well, this takes time and patience, but He is sure to teach it to you, if you are a willing to learn vessel.

My emotions wanted off the terrible roller coaster. I was so sick and tired of the screw ups, and the back stabbing, and the mind games that I was related to by marriage and the friends we had. I was sure that I was stuck in that life forever, but again I have to thank God for being who He is, The Giver Of Life. Only God can bring you out of the impossible and make all good things possible!
