Ohio to California a few days

HiHo HiHo, it's a RoadTrip we will go...

Actually, it's over a 2000 mile trip especially to relocate my niece and her son. She married a US Marine the day after Christmas, and now Josh is getting them moved into base housing. Well, the paperwork has wet ink, but the keys hasn't made it into their hands yet. I'm only going to stay a few days to help them setup house, and probably babysit Xavier a few times so the newlyweds can catch up. Then I'm flying home. I just don't want to infringe on the newlyweds for any longer then the need be. But, they have an empty house to fill, so there's going to be a lot of planning and $hopping. : )

I've found airfare for $99 (but not booked yet) at three websites. I'm disappointed after investigating Spirit Airlines fares that starts at a nickel for one/way of a round/trip. I found a round/trip from OH to NY is a nickel plus $89. Just how many nickels are in a hundred dollars?? Anyway, these deals are very short term for purchase with just a few available days.

I'm scanning for a cheap flight at: cheapair, cheapoair, cheapseats, delta, hotwire, spiritair, ultimatefares, and other sites. I cannot actually book my flight until we know exactly when we'll hit the road.
